They explain: "... since dogs reach adulthood within the first couple of years, the formula (for calculating dog years) is: 10.5 dog years per human year for the first 2 years, then 4 dog years per human year for each year after." Whichever, as you can see, Chanel is a grand lady and we wish her a (belated) very happy birthday. He was born in 1910 and went to dog heaven in 1939 at the good old age of 129 human years.

The oldest living person is supercentenarian Getruide Baines; she was born in 1894, when the first commercial motorcars took to the road but before the age of airplanes. At 115 years old, imagine all the wonderful stories Getruide can tell. BTW, a person becomes a supercentenarian at age 110.
